Russom's Bio

I am a licensed real estate professional with Coldwell Banker, bringing decades of experience in engineering, business ownership, and real estate investment. I earned my degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1994 and began my career at Barr Engineering.

In 2002, I purchased Red Sea Bar and Restaurant with my partner, and I have been running it ever since as co-owner and general manager. The restaurant has grown into a well-known establishment in Minneapolis, and operating it has strengthened my skills in leadership, negotiation, and customer service.

Alongside my hospitality career, I have owned and managed a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial real estate, giving me hands-on insight into property ownership, management, and long-term value creation.

I am fluent in English, Amharic, and Tigrinya and am deeply committed to serving my community. I have been an active member of the West Bank Business Association since 2003, serving as its current  President and as Chair of the Safety Committee since 2008.

I am a dedicated family man whose values of integrity, hard work, and service guide everything I do and shape how I serve my clients.
